SHORT SUMMARY
Born and raised in Dayton, OH, I went to The Ohio State University originally for a Zoology double major, but switched to just a Film Studies major with a focus in Video Art & Animation.

One of the most cherished aspects of my life has been studying martial arts, which I've done for many years. I've frequently taken classes in Brazilian Jujitsu, Kali Escrima, Pencak Silat and Muay Thai to name a few. And I believe these disciplines have fostered my fascination for other cultures and their customs.
​
Since joining band in 5th grade playing the trumpet, music has been another passion that helped foster my love of learning, where I've expanded to include piano, bass guitar, saxophone, flute and drums. I like to listen to music from all over the world, from Hip-Hop, Jazz and Zydeco all the way to K-Pop, Country, and Tribal music.
​
Lastly, I'm a huge nerd and many of those stories are always influenced by interesting things. Anime/Manga, Video Games, Dungeons & Dragons. Doesn't matter: I'll watch or play it. Some personal favorites include One Piece, Monster Hunter, Pokémon, Assassin's Creed, Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, Scott Pilgrim and Spawn.

Animation Contractor
Founded by my good friends Michael Mullen and David Goodwin, I helped them as an animation contractor for on numerous indie projects. These often included music video shoots and their documentary "The Other Eleven".

Associate Producer
My years at Cox Media gave me the most valuable local television production experience. I learned how to create commercials for FTP and interact with multiple clients, as well as how to expand my voice over talents for radio.
2013 - 2015
Michael's Salon and Day Spa
Videographer
I got my first opportunity for professional experience at Michael's Salon. I was responsible for filming and editing all of the fashion shows and hair/make-up instructional videos, and designing occasional flyers for social media.

Instructional Developer III
From Articulate to LMS platforms, I've learned the majority of my Learning & Development knowledge at Cincinnati Insurance. It was also here that I was able to expand my game development skills into VR and AR.

R&L Carriers
Social Media Video Producer
At R+L Carriers, I provided long and short form videos for all of the social media account pages of their numerous owned properties. These videos included yearly holiday animations, infographics, and job recruitment videos.
2013 - 2016
Native Son Studios
Founder
I founded Native Son Studios LLC primarily as a way to get a Developer Account on both Google Play and the App Store. This allowed me to release my mobile game GUARD DOGS on all mobile platforms at the time.
